Hi all,
Im starting to like this Blog thing! But, only problem being, I dont know if I would ever make a good writer out of myself. But, I surely wanna give it a shot. So, I was thinking what to write. Since I couldnt think of anything to write, I finally decided to narate my expiriences.

Below naration is a simple exageration of the Author's view of a simple incident that took place in his life. By reading this piece of work, if you happen to get affected you may report your concerns to idontcarewhatyouthink@kripa.com.

SCENT OF A WOMAN

Once upon a time in a lovely township called IIT, lived a kid named Thuka (well ... wat a name to choose...ughhh). This story begins when Thuka was in his 8th std(Cannot remember quiet well), when he was just about trying and getting out of "Cry Baby" tag he had acquired from his neighbourhood friends.

Apart from being shy, he was very low in confidence, be it studies or any Co-curricular activities. His parents had lots of hope in him, but never really pushed him too much. His dad would always say... "It does’nt matter if you dont get good grades...as long as you grasp the concept". Thuka, believed in this or atleast followed it simply cos of the cushion it offered him ("Bad Grades??? No problem). Thuka's dad hoping for the best would involve Thuka in some "Intellectual-talk-during-the-morning-walk" stuff. Though Thuka did respond to it...he never really showed it in his Grades. Thuka, mostly cos of his introver character, never really believed in himself. But, all that was about to change in a few days....

Enter...Miss Pretty. Now, Miss Pretty was a complete opposite to Thuka (apart from the sex...if U havent yet noticed :-)). She was self confident, was very talented, and had won a lot of accolades in sports, music n studies. She had everything that any kid would envy to have. Within the few days of her arrival, she became quiet popular in class, infact the most popular in class. Being in a nice and innocent school, no kids were grown-up enough to talk about her ... but for sure had a "thing" for her.

As usual our Hero Thuka (just incase you forgot...hes the actual hero in the story), never really cared who came and who went, cos thats not gonna change anything for him.

Enter...Sports day trial events. Before the Sports day, the school holds thier preliminary round of competitions where kids could compete against each other to bag a few "Fake" or "Rolled" medals. Thuka though not very good at it, joins the long distance race. He arrives just in time for the race, but by the time he arrives the teachers have already given the instructions for the race. So he joins a pack of guyz who are standing behind the pack of gals. He enquires about the instructions to his classmate for which the reply was "Notin...just start running when you hear the whistle". As soon as Thuka hears the whistle...off he goes...like a rocket...Vrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm.

A minute or two would have passed...but he couldnt believe what was happening...he was right at the front...and he couldnt even hear a single person running even close to him. After few more minutes...he hears a familiar voice calling him accompanied by a familiar mopped horn. He turns and looks to see his dad. Thuka turns and gives his dad a proud smile...only to here him say "That whistle was for the gals...the boyz have jus about started their race."

Thuka gets a shock! "How can I face my classmates...they are gonna tease me .... O hell!!!!" Just as these thoughts ran in his mind...Miss.Pretty runs past him, leading the pack of gals ... all of them gigling at Thuka.

Poor Thuka, returns back to his shell and shuts it hard enough this time. The next day, Thuka was playing Soccer with his classmates when...Miss Pretty walks into the field. The game is momentarily stopped, and the Gaze is shifted onto the Mr.Boys-Class Leader. All of them thought Miss.Pretty, being the class leader, was probably carrying an announcement for the class. And as Boys class leader waits for the message...she walks straight to Thuka (To everyones astonishment) and says "You ran really well...well done!” As if this wasnt enough...she offers him a handshake which he gladly accepts.
With all mouths wide open, she walks off the ground. What a soccer match it was, every guy in the match fought tooth and nail...cos they all knew someone round the corner was watching them!

Thuka was a hero! So the next day he participates in the 200 mtr race. As he hears the whistle, he sprints like a rocket. He knew today was the day...and sure he gave his everything. After the first 100 mtrs he still finds himself in the 3rd spot. As he turns the corner and is ready to take on the straight 100 mtrs, he hears a chant from the stands ..."Thuka...Thuka...Thuka...”. He sure knew the source from where it was coming. And suddenly out of nowhere he starts sprinting in lightning speed...outrunning everyone and hence finishing first. This success encouraged thuka even more and he went onto win more races during the sports day...and became popular among his classmates.

Thuka didnt stop there...he continued his form in singing too!!! To the surprise of his music teacher (who has been teaching him since 1st std), he starts singing so well. He infact is asked to join the elite singing group of his school, which he declines (As if hes declining an offer from Microsoft or Intel) sighting academic reasons. In Academics as well, he rose to fame...he started getting good grades...n infact became part of the elite Maths group in his class (in which Miss Pretty according to many was weak!).

All this continued for a couple of years for Thuka...until he joined a new class in search of greater success. Though, he had lost the steam ... he was not to forget what he was capable of (after all he was reminded by a worthy person).

If whatever happened was too much for Thuka's standards ... more was to come in the coming years. He was to meet Miss Perfect and achieve much more than this.
