Who has more ego? a 'bodily' argument:)

One fine day after reading thuka's blog about ego, his body parts started discussing about it. After a while the discussion turned into an argument. The argument was: “who is the culprit who has so much of ego because of which poor thuka suffers?”

As always his (thuka’s) mouth was the first to speak. It said “thuka’s ears behave exactly like two diodes connected in series. When someone speaks, though they show as if they are forward biased (n hence are accepting the information(I) ), instead of passing it to the brain they leak out the information through the other ear. So obviously after a while people get upset with him and hence stop talking to him. Poor thuka! Only thing these ears can do is sit and listen to music all day”

Upon hearing this, thuka’s eyes bulged out in protest. “What do you mean by you have SEEN? Seeing is my job. Your job is to talk and eat. And I see that these days you are good only at eating. Of course, unless you eat we all cannot survive. But TALKING is an unidirectional form of communication, exactly like a diode. There is nothing wrong in transmitting information out, but you keep doing that all day, and don’t even give a chance for the other person to talk. How do you expect the ears to do their job, unless they have a job to do…huh?”

Upon hearing all this Thuka’s face couldn’t handle it anymore and hence said “Look who’s talking. Frankly speaking, Thuka has one of the dumbest pair of eyes. You know why? To know, better ask his girlfriend. In spite of having a beautiful pair of expressive eyes, she can never express anything to him. Because these dumbos(pair of eyes), cannot understand. It’s not just that. They have been trying for eternity to wink, but still haven’t succeeded…lol. Once in a while the ‘hand’ pities them and hence comes and closes one of them. And they still to this day, they keep convincing people that they can wink. Can you believe we are among such dumb organs?”

“Enough!” says the brain “what’s wrong with you all? Look how pathetic you guys are behaving. You are throwing mud at each other? Is this how you guys treat each other after being together for this long? Mind you…it’s a long journey from here. You can’t keep fighting like this. I jus e-mailed ‘heart’ about all this. He (Heart) seems to be busy.”

“Yes brain” pumped the heart “I just got your e-mail. Sorry I was a little busy pumping up blood into these idiots. Guys its not of your mistake! Thuka is full of ego from head to toe (which infact makes you all behave like this). Infact, I have been pumping blood for so many years now that it’s all equally distributed among you all. You know what we should do? We should let the whole world know about it”

Brain: “Yes we should. I have an idea. ‘Hand’? are you busy?”

Hands: “This nut-pot (thuka) is sleeping rite? I am no where close to being busy”.

Brain: ‘tats good! Then can you log onto blogger.com and post our discussion there. Let everyone know what kind of a person we have here.”

Eyes:”Nice idea brain. Infact I know his username and password for the site. I have seen it. His username is mailkrips and password is **********.”

Brain: “Now I know why passwords are always full of ‘*’s. See how easily they fooled our DUMB ‘eyes’. Don’t worry, I know the password, I have e-mailed it hands.”

Hands: “Got it ‘Brain’ I have logged in.”

Brain: “Quick before he(Thuka) wakes up. Click ‘create new post’. Type our argument in the edit window. And click ‘publish post’ button. And yes, don’t forget to click ‘Republish the entire blog’ button.”

Eyes:” Wow…what an amazing idea. I cant wait to this crack (thuka) to get up tomorrow and read all those comments posted by others. I hope its bitter enough for him”

Brain: “Careful kid! Such comments could make him (thuka) to donate you off to someone. Hands are you done…quick he (thuka) might wake up!”

Hands: “I am done guys. Not going to do the spell check, guess it should be fine. Now sit back and relax…with this click all of us are going to be famous. And sorry ‘eyes’, have a nice time at the donation bank, we will miss you!”

Resistance vs. Ego: An Electrical analogy of the most important human character

Chapter 1: Analogy Table
Electrical symbol and thier Human analogy has been listed in the table below:
(1) I (Current) => I (Information)
(2) V(Voltage) => K(Knowledge)
(3) R (Resistance - resists current flow) => E(Ego – resists flow of information)
(4) En(Energy – V*I) => U(Utilization of I for the betterment of self n society)

Chapter 2: Human analogy for the electrical components
In this chapter we discuss the characteristic of a few electrical components and compare it with the human ego using the analogy table discussed in chapter 1. In this chapter we discuss as to how each component behaves when placed directly across a voltage source. In real-life this voltage source can be any person who has immense knowledge in a certain area. So basically we here discuss how various human beings with varied levels of ego react to a knowledgeable person.

(i) Capacitors & Inductors: In theory, Inductors and Capacitors do not have ego. Which in other words mean, they do not resist to the flow of I (information). The process of accepting I stops only when they have knowledge (or V) comparable to the source. Such characteristics, helps them in building great amount of energy inside them. Though both can store a lot of energy in their life time, they can never aid the society by converting it into any other useful form. What use is electrical energy, when you cannot use it to help the society? There is a use. When a fully charged capacitor is connected across a load, it discharges the energy it has onto that load. This, in other words means that it starts imparting the knowledge it gained back to the society! This remains the only advantage of such components.
Example: Most professors who keep educating a lot of students in their life, but do not use this knowledge in their research, fall into this category.

(ii) Diode: Interesting component. A diode could be a highly egoistic or least egoistic component depending on its bias. In theory, while being forward biased it offers no resistance, hence accepts all the information. But, when reverse biased, it blocks the flow of I completely, unless the voltage of the knowledge source is too high to break its ego! Such egoistic diodes are of no or very less use to the society. Even while being forward biased, since they have no resistance, they act like a connecting wire which cannot store any energy in it. In real life they are useless, unless you want to block all the information coming towards you!
Example: People who think they know everything or at least think it is bad to accept that they do not know or understand things around them fit into this category

(iii) Resistor: Resistors are one of the most widely used components in any electrical circuit. They have just enough ego to block all the unwanted information and allow the wanted ones alone. Though a resistor cannot store energy like a capacitor or an inductor, it can always use the I(information). Any application where energy conversion is required a resistor is used. The light bulb we use or the water heaters that we use are all using resistors ability to convert the information into useful energy.
Example: People who has good listening ears and also a sound mind which can think and use the information that they have gained fit into this category.

So what are you? A diode, a Resistor or a Capacitor?
